Well, I arrived in USA today, for the first time really entering the country. Took a flight from Monterrey to Atlanta, where my colleague lives, and then we drove north towards Terra Haute, Indiana at noon more or less.
All in all a great roadtrip up through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and finally Indiana. The landscape here is amazing, but as I feared the road is full of fast-food places etc. It is actually quite difficult to find a place with "normal" food when you are on the road...
Now I am ready to experience 2 weeks of USA, having a job here in Terra Haute. Good timing, becuase then i can see the election first hand :) Driving up from the south I have seen a lot of McCain/Palin signs in front of houses etc. but here in Indiana the signs started changing more towards Obama/Biden... I keep my fingers crossed!
