I guess it comes as no surprise that in Mexico they are crazy about football - fútbol. Here in Monterrey they have 2 teams in the best league - Tigres and Rayados- and the local derby know as el
Clásico Regiomontana. Latest derby was on October 18th and of course it was completely impossible to get a ticket for the stadium. I saw it with friends from the Danfoss factory here, a great mix of fans of both teams. I refused to pick a team to cheer for, and made the chicken solutions of promising to be fan
of the winning team in the future :)
The match was played close to my house at the Rayados ground. Rayados scored a great goal in the 2nd half, but after that it went completely wrong for them, and the amazing and uncomparably greatest team of all time, yes we are talking about the Tigres here, took the match by 4 goals to 1.
it was great to see the friendly but competitive spirit of the fans, nothing like european fans with completel lack of respect for fans of other teams.
