Warsaw Apartments

Yep i finally moved into my own apartment. The buildings where i live are called Warsaw Apartments, so it must be THE place to live in Warsaw. I hope to update the blog more frequently, since i have internet now - a good prerequisite for this type of activity i should say.

Well, my apartment is small but cosy, kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and small bedroom. Full of furniture and stuff so i am not sleeping on the floor or anything strange. my 3 danish colleagues have apartments here as well, so we spend a lot of time together. We share 1 car, so we travel to and from work together daily. Apart from that we work together in the same department as well ;)

My department in Danfoss is really good, with young and energetic people, so i get to have lots of fun in my sparetime. They drag me to concerts and stuff and sometimes we go for a pizza or a beer after work.

Yesterday we went to a small concert place - something like a student house is my best guess - called Proxima. A friend of my colleagues played there, so i have heard the best of the best of polish rock - FABRYKA! Amateur band, singing in polish... but still lots of fun!

This weekend one of the other danes will stay and we will discover Warsaw together. I guess we are prepared for some culture and some fun in the night life as well. Tonight we are headed for a restaurant in Warsaw so we spend some time together not related to work.

Next visit to DK will be in the distant futue i am afraid. After a really nice Easter with family and friends, i plan to spend my holidays (extended weekends) exploring my new surroundings. On the sketch board i have Krakow, Poznan, Gdansk, St. petersburg, Zakopane and then maybe Ukraine and Belarus. Nothing is decided yet, but i want to be really touristic and travel around. Fortunately i have the car most weekends, which makes everything a little easier.
